If you’re a fan of the 2018 Lexus ES 350, you’re in for a real treat when the 2019 Lexus ES 350 hits Lexus dealerships throughout the country later this year. The new Lexus EX 350 is already being produced in the Lexus brand’s Georgetown, KY manufacturing facility, and it will be delivered to Lexus dealerships soon.

For the 2019 Lexus ES 350, the new Lexus Global Architecture platform is used. This means that the car will have a chassis that’s more rigid than its predecessor’s, and it offers class-leading handling and power that you’ll be able to sense when you’re behind the wheel. By using the new platform, the Lexus brand was able to make the seventh-generation Lexus ES 350 lower and wider, and the automaker was able to position the vehicle’s wheels closer to its corners.

The Lexus brand has a long-standing commitment to craftsmanship, which is the basis for the Lexus brand’s manufacturing. Employees at the plant where the 2019 Lexus ES 350 is being produced received more than 150,000 hours of training to assemble the new automobile. The employees’ training includes sensory training where assemblers learned to feel for abnormalities as thin as a single human hair.

“After extensive sensory training, our team members rely on sight, sound, and touch to know that the craftsmanship of the car is of the highest standard,” said Mike Bridge, Lexus assistant general manager. “A machine can’t make those judgments, and that’s why we take so much time to train before a new model goes into production.”

The 2019 Lexus ES 350 will boast some new features, which include

  • An eight-speed direct shift automatic transmission
  • The standard Lexus Safety System+ 2.0
  • Apple CarPlay™
  • Amazon Alexa compatibility
