As Lexus dealers near Green Cove Springs, FL, we’re really excited to tell you all about the Lexus Design Award 2019. The Lexus Design Award launched in 2013 with the goal of making the world a better place through design. Now in its seventh year, this year’s award has the clear objective of inspiring artists to design for a better tomorrow.
According to Lexus, “The next-generation of designers will need to consider how their creative ideas incorporate three fundamental principles from the Lexus brand – ‘Anticipate,’ ‘Innovate,’ and ‘Captivate’ – as well as how their design anticipates the needs of tomorrow’s society. They will need to develop innovative designs that bring fresh, imaginative solutions. At the same time, their ideas and designs should be captivating and engaging to the audience and more importantly, of the esteemed judging panel.”
Six finalists will be chosen near the start of 2019. The ideas of the six finalists will be made into working prototypes with a budget of up to $25,000. Finalists will work with world renowned mentors as they bring their ideas to life. The finished prototypes will be displayed during Milan Design Week, where they will face off for the Grand Prix prize.
