If you’ve visited our Lexus dealership recently or poured through our inventory of new Lexus cars online, then you know we recently added the 2019 Lexus NX to our new vehicle lineup. While we’re excited to have that SUV at our dealership, we’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of its smaller cousin, the 2019 Lexus UX.
There are two variants of the new Lexus UX: the Lexus UX 200 and the Lexus UX 250h. The gas-only model is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 168 horsepower. The hybrid model has the same engine but is also equipped with an electric motor and hydride battery. Total output in the hybrid iteration of the SUV is 176 horsepower.
According to the brand we proudly represent, the new Lexus UX has the lowest center of gravity in its segment. That fact, combined with the SUV’s MacPherson strut front and double-wishbone rear suspension, ensures drivers will enjoy excellent handling and responsiveness. The 2019 Lexus UX has a 34-foot turning radius, which makes U-turns and parking in tight spaces a breeze.
The 2019 Lexus UX offers some impressive advanced safety features, such as a forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking system. This SUV also has a pedestrian detection system that can sense the presence of people after dark in addition to during the daytime. This system can also detect cyclists.
