It seems like just yesterday that we told you the 2018 Lexus LC Coupe earned a coveted spot on Wards 10 Best Interiors list, even though we broke that news to you nearly a year ago. Now, we’re thrilled to tell you that the 2018 Lexus LS flagship sedan has been added to the Wards 10 Best Interiors list.
When describing the Lexus LC Coupe and the redesigned Lexus LS, WardsAuto Senior Editor Christie Schweinsberg said the vehicles have a “wow factor” derived from their breathtaking ambient interior lighting and their eye-catching swooping lines. The 2018 Lexus LS impressed the judges even more with its “artfully patterned ‘diagonal-L’ perforated seats, stunning hand-pleated door trim and, depending on the grade, Waterford-crystal-like Kiriko cut-glass or patterned wood trim.”
Judges from WardsAuto tested a Lexus LS 500 F Sport along with other cars competing for a spot on Wards 10 Best Interiors list for close to a week. During testing, the judges praised the complexity and beauty of the cockpit in the new Lexus LS as well as the sedan’s many features.
“The sweeping chrome strips on the instrument panel and floating door armrests, accented by ambient lighting, look like works of art,” said WardsAuto Senior Editor Drew Winter. “This car is worth every penny.”
